Privacy policy for browser-based options calculator inputs

This policy explains what stays on your device, what normal hosting may process, and how to remove locally saved scenarios.

Options calculator inputs and local storage

Underlying prices, strikes, premiums, quantities, volatility, rates, and other calculation inputs are processed in your browser. Saving a scenario writes that information to local storage on the same device. The site does not require an account or intentionally upload those scenarios to an application database.

You can remove saved scenarios by clearing site data in your browser. CSV exports and copied summaries are created only after you choose those actions and are handled by your device.

Hosting logs and technical information

The hosting platform may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, time, response status, and security signals. This information supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

We do not treat a ticker symbol or modeled strategy as proof of a real holding or transaction. Avoid entering personal or confidential information into free-form contact messages.

Cookies, analytics and third-party services

The core calculator does not need an advertising profile or brokerage connection. If privacy-respecting analytics or operational services are added, this policy will be updated to identify their purpose and data handling.

Links to external websites are governed by those sites' policies. Opening an external source or email client can share information according to the receiving service's terms.

Privacy questions and policy changes

Contact privacy@optionprofitcalculator.org for a privacy question. We may update this policy as hosting or site features change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
